Premier Giorgia Meloni said Thursday
the state can't keep using taxpayers' money to maintain people
on the citizenship wage basic income anti-poverty benefit while
they await their dream job, repeating that the benefit will be
phased out by the end of net year.
"Decent jobs are there and can be found", said Meloni at the
recording of Rai TV talk show Porta a Porta to be aired this
evening.
"Yes would like to create a perfect world where everyone finds
the job of their dreams but if you refuse to work a decent job
because you only take your dream job you cannot expect the state
to support you with the taxes paid by those who accepted a job
that was often not their dream job".
