A young tourist drowned in Lake Garda
on Saturday.
The woman dived in at Garda, Garda, in the Corno area, and
failed to re-emerge.
She was subsequently found by an emergency rescue team which
proved unable to revive her.
There has been a string of similar incidents amid heatwaves
across Italy this summer.
