A couple of newly weds did a runner to
Germany after a wedding banquet south of Rome last week, sources
said Sunday.
The man, a 40-year-old construction boss from Ferentino, and the
woman, a 25-year-old Pole who has lived in Rome for some time,
invited some 70 guests to the lavish fish dinner in a typical
Ciociaria eatery between Veroli and Boville Ernica.
They then walked out without paying the bill, drove to Rome and
flew to Frankfurt with the groom's parents in tow.
