A pregnant woman was hit by a falling
rottweiler in one of central Rome's chicest streets, Via
Frattina, on Friday.
The woman is in hospital in serious condition after being struck
by the animal which fell off a third-floor balcony and died on
impact.
The dog's owner, who said she didn't notice a thing, is said to
be distraught.
