A nine-year-old Moldovan boy who ran
away from a children's home in the town of Borgo Revel, near
Turin, is dead after being hit by train while crossing the
tracks of the Chivasso-Alessandria rail line on Monday.
"It's a terrible tragedy," said Mauro Marino of the 'Crescere
Insieme' home for children who the authorities have taken out of
the care of their parents.
"We're still trying to work out what happened.
"We await the investigations of law enforcement and the
judiciary to reconstruct what happened.
"The educators are devastated".
