Almost half Italian 18-25-year-olds
suffered from severe and sometimes debilitating anxiety and
depression during the COVID-19 emergency, a 'post pandemic'
report from think tank CENSIS said.
Some 49.4% oft his age bracket said they had suffered from
anxiety and depression amid the lockdowns, said CENSIS.
Seeing a bleaker future, some 62.1% of them said they had
changed their expectations for the worse.
"Between anxiety, depression and isolation, youth malaise is a
reality that is not always perceived by families, and which must
be tackled with listening and other treatments," said CENSIS.
