Three members of Italy's tax police,
the Guardia di Finanza (GdF), died during an exercise in the
northern Italian mountains on Wednesday.
The three member of the corps' alpine rescue unit, aged 32, 25
and 22, fell to their deaths at the Asteroid Precipice in the
Valtellina area, in Val di Masino in the province of Sondrio.
They are believed to have died instantly.
