A 17-year-old on Sunday confessed to
allegedly killing his father, mother and 12-year-old brother at
their family home in Paderno Dugnano near Milan, investigative
sources said.
After lengthy questioning, the teen changed his previous version
of events saying he had killed not only his father but his
entire family, ANSA has learned.
The teen early on Sunday morning called the 112 emergency
service saying he had murdered his father after the man had
stabbed his mother and 12-year-old brother to death in their
home.
He said he had woken up after hearing his mom and brother scream
and had walked into his sibling's room to find his dad with a
knife in his hand beside the bodies of his younger brother and
mother in the family apartment.
The teen said he then took the knife from his father's hands and
killed him
The 17-year-old, who was questioned by investigators throughout
the day, was officially placed under investigation on Sunday
afternoon by Milan's juvenile prosecution unit before he
confessed to allegedly committing all three murders.
