Baltimora, a 20-year-old record producer from Ancona in Marche who decided to get up on stage for the first time, on Thursday night won the Italian edition of X Factor.
The singer-songwriter, coached by rapper Hell Raton, beat
gIANMARIA, coached by singer-songwriter Emma, into second
place.
Veneto rock outfit Bengala Fire, coached by rocker and
Afterhours frontman Manuel Agnelli, came third, and Fellow,
coached by MIka, was fourth.
"I've always made music for myself," said the winner, whose real
name is Edoardo Spinsante.
"I've had a great time on this incredible stage. I hope to keep
making my music and to do it with others as a producer, so I can
branch out and enrich myself in terms of experience".
Italian rock sensation Maneskin performed live on the final
night, lighting up the stage, as did Coldplay.
The Roman rockers, who won Eurovision this year and recently
supported the Rolling Stones, came second in the competition in
2017.
