Italian director Giuliano Montaldo has
died at the age of 93 at his Rome home, his family said on
Wednesday.
He directed over 20 films, as well as being a screenwriter and
actor.
His movies include Machine Gun McCain (1969), Sacco e Vanzetti
(1970); Giordano Bruno (1973); And Agnese Chose to Die (1976)
and Gli Occhiali d'Oro (1987).
He also directed the Emmy-winning 1982 miniseries Marco Polo.
