Rai state broadcaster on Wednesday
opened disciplinary proceedings against a journalist accused of
body shaming rapper BigMama after her appearance at the Sanremo
Song Festival on opening night Tuesday.
Rai's CEO Roberto Sergio, the broadcaster said, "upon learning
of the disparaging tweet against a competing artist, asked Rai's
Human Resources Department to open disciplinary proceedings
against a journalist for body shaming".
Proceedings have also been opened against another journalist who
criticised Trentino authorities after the culling of a bear,
M90, whoch had become over-friendly, the statement added.
