The Ambassador of Italy to North Macedonia Andrea Silvestri, together with the First Secretary De Rosa, yesterday visited the Headquarters of SkopSter, a private partner of the Public-Private Partnership for the Integrated Management of Innovative Solutions for Surgical Procedures and Nosocomial Infections, of which the Italian company "Servizi Italia", a well-known excellence in the field of integrated services for healthcare, is the main partner.
SkopSter is a facility that deals, among other things, with the supply of surgical instruments and sterile disposable medical materials to hospitals in the country, as well as the related sterilisation and disinfection processes. At the moment, the company works with the Mother Teresa Clinical Centre in Skopje, with the prospect of extending its activities to other areas of the country.
During the visit, the Delegation received a presentation on the work that takes place in the plant as well as a guided tour of the plant, during which a practical demonstration of the tool sterilisation process was given.
Through the adoption of best practices and the expertise of partners, including those from Italy, high standards are being introduced that are improving healthcare in North Macedonia
