As part of the ongoing Festival of Italian Creativity in Tunis, Italian and Tunisian students put on a performance on the myth of Aeneas and Dido. 'Quart Hadasht, la nouvelle ville' was organised by the University of Bologna together with the Higher Institute of Music of Tunis.
The Festival of Creativity is organised by the Italian Embassy in Tunisia in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute and in synergy with a group of Italian institutions, artists and companies and will end on 6 July. Many initiatives have been promoted to highlight our country's architecture, fashion, design, cinema, theatre, visual arts, history, archaeology and handicrafts.
The aim is, as the Italian Ambassador Alessandro Prunas explained at the opening of the Festival, 'to create an open, innovative and interactive dialogue between the most significant expressions of Italian and Tunisian creativity and some of the most emblematic and important spaces and public places in the city of Tunis, through a programme of activities and events to stimulate reflection on the links between our countries, our traditions and our peoples'.
