Luca Zampaglione has been appointed acting executive director of the European agency for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice (eu-Lisa), based in Tallinn.
A native of Valle d'Aosta and formerly with the state police, Zampaglione has significant international experience, which led him to service at Europol in The Hague and NATO headquarters in Brussels before arriving at eu-Lisa in 2013, where he held the position of executive in charge of security.
