The Italian ambassador to Argentina, Fabrizio Lucentini, held a meeting in Buenos Aires with the undersecretary of Labour, Julio Cordero, during which they discussed the new labour reform included in the so-called 'Basic Law' recently approved in Parliament.
The meeting was described as 'fruitful' in a post on the Italian embassy's official profile. The labour reform presented by the ultra-liberal leader's executive envisages, among other things, the flexibility of the compensation scheme, the extension of the probationary period for new hirings, and the possibility of dismissing workers who adhere to measures of forced interruption of production.
