The public presentation of the winners of the Italian-Georgian cooperation programme for the co-financing of scholarships, launched within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2018 between the International Education Center (Iec) and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (Crui), took place. Flanking the scholarships offered by the Italian government to Georgian students, this programme represents a further extraordinary opportunity for professional growth that allows young people to have a valuable educational experience in Italy.
The event, together with the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Director of the International Education Centre (Iec) of Georgia Nunu Mitskevich, and representatives of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Georgia, was attended by the Ambassador of Italy to Georgia Massimiliano D'Antuono, who congratulated the winners of the scholarships (thanks to this programme, in the a.a. 2024-2025 six Georgian students will continue their education at top Italian universities) and thanked Minister Amilakhvari for his strong support for cooperation between our countries in the field of education.
