The Ambassador of Italy to Ukraine, Carlo Formosa, had a fruitful meeting in recent days with Oleksy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz, focusing on Ukraine's progress towards energy independence in the gas sector and opportunities for cooperation with Italian companies in the traditional and renewable energy sectors.
"We are convinced that Italian companies can make a significant contribution to the strengthening and modernisation of Ukraine's energy sector," said the head of mission. The meeting concluded with a strong commitment to consolidate energy cooperation between Italy and Ukraine, paving the way for new opportunities for collaboration.
