The Ambassador of Italy to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas, participated, in the presence of the Tunisian State Secretary for Energy Transition, Wael Chouchane, in 'Italy Meets Tunisia', a Cdp Business Matching presentation event on the Tunisian market with a focus on agro-industry. This was written by the Italian Embassy on its social channels, stressing that the focus of the discussions was on "tools to further strengthen exchanges between Italy and Tunisia".
The event was organised by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Tunis and the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Crafts, the ICE Agency in Tunis, SIMEST, Confindustria Assafrica and the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The discussions covered the main trends in the Tunisian market and the opportunities for collaboration between Italian and local companies in the main areas of interchange, with a focus on the agribusiness sector. The main financial instruments that Cdp makes available to companies in the framework of International Development Cooperation were then presented. Finally, B2B meetings were held between the participating companies.(ANSA)
