The Italian Ambassador to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas, has inaugurated, in the presence of the Tunisian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Soufiene Tekaya, the Gabès Design Hub supported by Italy and the European Union in the framework of a project of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in Tunisia. This was announced by the Italian Diplomatic Representation in Tunisia, emphasising that "the promotion of Tunisian handicrafts is at the heart of the Italian Cooperation's action for sustainable and inclusive growth".
The Gabès Design Hub is a centre for designers, artisans and fashion creators that will be added to the others already active in Tunisia under the same project.
