In a two-stage event in Mexico City - a press conference followed by a launch in front of a packed audience in the Santa Fe business district - Lamborghini presented the Urus Se model, the brand's first hybrid SUV, which has sold 536 cars on Aztec soil since it began trading in the Latin American country fifteen years ago.
The CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, emphasised the importance of the Mexican market.
"We have been present in the market for 15 years and our success story continues to grow," said the executive.
"Last year," he added, "was the best for Lamborghini in Mexico, with 82 cars sold.
The event, chaired together with Winkelmann by Andrea Baldi, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini America, was attended by the Italian ambassador to Mexico, Alessandro Modiano.
