Italian President Sergio Mattarella told Quentin Tarantino Friday that even his famously quick-witted problem solver Mr Wolf from Pulp Fiction "would not succeed on his own in solving all the problems" in steering Italy fully out of economic crisis. "Getting out of crisis isn't easy. Mr Tarantino, even if you lent us your Mr Wolf, even he wouldn't manage to solve all the problems on his own," he said. Tarantino, who is in Italy to pick up two best foreign-film David di Donatello awards he never got around to receiving, for Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained, said: "It was a real surprise that he cited him. I didn't expect it".
"Who knows, I might revisit that character," added the cult director.
