Government unity will help Italy win
its fight for a gas price cap amid the Ukraine war and the cost
of living and energy crisis, Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said
Friday.
"For me it is very important to say that at this moment we need
great unity, there is no need to rock the government because a
united government at the national level is a government that
will be able to win the battle of the maximum ceiling on gas
prices at a European level in the coming said," he said on the
local-election stump in Naples.
There have been recent rising tensions among the many parties
that back Premier Mario Draghi's national unity government.
