Crosetto on Wednesday told his Polish counterpart Mariusz
Blaszczak he was closely following the evolution of the
situation in Poland, where two people were killed by a missile
believed to have been launched by Ukrainian air defence forces
against Russian missiles.
Crosetto took part in the meeting of the Contact Group for the
Defense of Ukraine, which took place this afternoon by
videoconference.
The meeting addressed the recent developments of the Ukrainian
crisis and the common commitment to the rapid achievement of a
solution for peace.
Crosetto had a brief conversation with his Polish counterpart
Blaszczak, to whom he reiterated his constant attention to the
evolution of the situation, also expressing feelings of
closeness and solidarity for the tragic death of his two fellow
citizens.
