A parliamentary commission of inquiry
into the handling of the COVID-19 emergency is to be set up
after parliament on Wednesday adopted the underlying text to
establish it.
The commission will be able to thoroughly investigate the
management of the pandemic, from the vaccine plan to the
lockdowns and closures, and any abuses, delays and failures,
parliamentary sources said.
It will not replace ongoing prosecutors' probes, they stressed.
