Silvio Berlusconi's eldest son Pier
Silvio, managing director the family media group Mediaset, said
Tuesday he would not have been able to achieve anything without
his late father's support.
Berlusconi Jr, 54, said in a letter to all Mediaset's staff that
"there are no words to describe my emotion every time he told me
'I'm proud of you and of what you're doing'.
"And I always knew very well that he was talking to all of us: I
would not have been able to do anything alone".
The four-time former premier and media mogul, who died aged 86
Monday of chronic leukemia, founded Mediaset in the early 1980s
and built it into Italy's first and still by far largest
commercial TV group.
