German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser
said Thursday she was confident she and her EU counterparts
would reach a "good" agreement on the standards to be maintained
in the management of emergency situations under the new draft EU
Pact on Migration and Asylum under discussion at a Home Affairs
Council meeting in Brussels.
"On the crisis management regulation" within the Asylum and
Migration Pact "we are negotiating the issue of individual
standards," said Faeser, arriving at the meeting.
"I am confident that in the end we will get a good result," she
added.
