Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister
Antonio Tajani on Sunday condemned violence against people who
think differently after a journalist was attacked in Turin
overnight, allegedly by far-right militants.
"(There is) too much violence and intolerance in Italy against
those who do not think like you," Tajani, the leader of the
centre-right Forza Italia (FI) party, said via X.
"In Turin a La Stampa journalist was attacked by right-wing
extremists, in Rome two boys were beaten up because they were
homosexuals," he added, referring to an incident that took place
a few days ago.
"Death threats have been made against Forza Italia.
"We firmly condemn all violence".
