AS Roma's new Argentine signing Paulo
Dybala is not a child and will be able to cope with the pressure
of debuting against his former club Juventus at the Allianz
Stadium in Turin Saturday night, Giallorossi coach José Mourinho
said Friday.
Mourinho said the 28-year-old Argentina and former Palermo
attacking midfielder known as La Joya or The Jewel "has the face
of a baby but isn't one.
"He has a lot of experience, controlling his emotions is up to
him.
"From how he has worked in these last few days I haven't seen
anything different.
"For me he's very fit.
"I didn't expect anything more at this time".
Dybala signed for Roma after winning five league titles and four
Italian Cups with Juve.
Between 2015 and 2022 he became the Old Lady's joint
ninth-highest scorer with 82 goals from 210 matches.
He has 34 Argentina caps since 2015, and three goals for his
country.
Mourinho added: "Every match has the same eve and the same
routine for me. Nothing changes. Playing a top side is great,
but nothing special compared to usual. I've played in Turin many
times, and tomorrow will be just one more time".
Roma have made a perfect start to the Serie A season with two
1-0 wins while Juve have four points from their two games.
The Turin giants are joint second alongside reigning champs AC
Milan behind free-scoring Napoli and last year's runner-up
Inter.
