AC Milan's Francesco Camarda became
the youngest player ever to take part in a Serie A match when he
made his debut by coming on as a substitute in Saturday's 1-0
win over Fiorentina at San Siro at the age of 15 years and 260
days.
"He is talented and brought freshness, which we didn't have when
he came on," said Milan coach Stefano Pioli of the young
forward.
"Today will be a formative experience for his development.
"His journey will be made of small steps.
"He knows he has talent, but he is very humble and generous and
for this reason he is well liked in the locker room.
"This match won't make him feel like he has made it.
"He is too intelligent for that and he knows that he must make
his future with dedication".
Saturday's win, secured with a Theo Hernández penalty, gives
third-placed Milan 26 points from 13 games.
They are five points behind leaders Inter, who visit
second-placed Juventus later on Sunday.
