Ferrari presented its 2024 Formula
One race car, the SF-24, on its online platforms on Tuesday.
The car has the Italian glamour team's traditional deep red
livery, with white and yellow stripes running along the sides
and the black features of previous years toned down.
Ferrari are seeking to end a long trophy drought this season.
They have not won a constructors' championship since 2008 and
the team's last drivers' crown dates back to Kimi Räikkönen's
triumph in 2007.
"I really like the car, including the white and yellow details
on the bodywork," said Charles Leclerc.
"What interests me most is the performance because it's on the
track where everything is at stake.
"The SF-24 promises to be less sensitive and more driveable
(than last year's car) and I'd say that's exactly what we
drivers need in order to be able to do well.
"I expect a step forward in many respects and I think we are
where we want to be.
"This season's aim is always to be at the front.
"I want to repay our fans with lots of good races and a return
to dedicating victories to them".
Leclerc will be teaming up with Carlos Sainz for the last time
this season as the Spaniard is set to make way in 2025 for the
arrival of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton from
Mercedes.
