Recent Australian Open champ Jannik
Sinner rose to third in the ATP rankings after qualifying for
the final of the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam by beating
Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands in two sets.
Sinner, 22, leapfrogged his defeated opponent in the Melbourne
final, Russia's Daniil Medvedev.
Now only Serb legend Novak Djokovic, whom Sinner beat in the
Aussie semis, and Wimbledon champ Carlo Alcaraz of Spain are
ahead of the South Tyrolean in his march to the top of world
tennis.
