World no 1 and Australian Open champ
Jannik Sinner is practising with Serb GOAT Novak Djokovic at
centre court at Wimbledon ahead of his tilt at his first grass
slam next month after recently winning his first grass ATP
tourney at Halle.
Djokovic, a seven-time Wimbledon champ and record 24 time slam
winner, has still not said if he is going to compete there this
year after surgery on a knee injury he sustained at the French
Open, where Spain's Carlos Alcaraz beat Germany's Alexander
Sverev in the final having prevailed oevr Sinner in a five set
thriller in the semi.
World number two Alcaraz, the reigning Wimbledon champ, starts
as favourite to retain his title.
Djokovic, 37, knocked South Tyrolean Sinner out in the last two
years.
Sinner said Thursday's practice session with the Serb great had
gone "well".
