Pope Francis blasted the tendency to condemn other people as he reflected on the subject of visiting prisoners and the sick during his weekly general audience in St Peter's Square on Wednesday. "Visiting people in prison is an act of mercy that, above all today, assumes a special value for the various forms of justicialism we are subject to," the pope said. "No one should point the finger against another. We should all be instruments of mercy with attitudes of sharing and respect".
