Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said
Wednesday that Italy was open to a proposed 100 billion euro
NATO fund to ensure military support to Ukraine but that the
technical details had to be ironed out.
"The proposal advanced by Jens Stoltenberg is certainly
interesting but it must be examined, looked at in depth, to see
technically how it can be done," he said after an Atlantic
Council meeting.
"Today there has just been a political evaluation. Therefore,
full support for the proposal but it must then be examined
technically and juridically".
