Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister
Antonio Tajani told an ANSA Forum on Tuesday that Italy will
continue to help Kyiv in order to stop the Russian forces of
invasion prevailing in Ukraine.
"We are faced with a Russian offensive on the ground and in the
air in Ukraine," Tajani said.
"We are helping them to resist in every possible way, because
peace talks can only come about only if Ukraine is not defeated,
because you have to be a contender to sit down for talks, and
not have a winner and a loser.
"Otherwise, it would be the winner's diktat, not an agreement
"I believe that the USA will help Ukraine even more from a
military point of view.
"We will also continue to do our part on all levels - political,
financial and also military".
