Italy is supporting and will continue
to support Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invasion
with no ifs or buts, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told
reporters on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington
Wednesday.
"We're here with the premier and defence minister to celebrate
NATO's 75th anniversary, which for us represents an important
reference point for our foreign policy," he said.
"Because NATO is not only a military organization, it is an
organization that defends values, freedom and democracy in the
world, it is an opportunity to reiterate our support for Ukraine
without ifs or buts, while all of us wanting to reach peace".
