(ANSA) - Rome, March 4 - The turnout for Italy's general
election was 58.41% at 19:00 on Sunday.
This was up on the turnout of 46.8% at the same time in the
2013 election, although the comparison is of limited value as
voting took place over two days five years ago.
Voting stations will close in Italy at 23:00.
