Premier Giorgia Meloni on Saturday
said security was a priority for Europe, arriving at the
North-South Summit in Saariselka, Finland.
"We need more security and I think that putting together nations
from the North and South, which have historically often been on
very different fronts on European issues, to discuss what today
represents a priority for Europe is a very smart choice", said
the prime minister, thanking her Finnish counterpart Petteri
Orpo.
"From the theme of migrants, to the theme of defence, to the
theme of a scenario in which hybrid wars and threats multiply we
must put together our efforts.
"This is our priority", she concluded.
