Improving the organizational and
service quality of vocational training providers from third
countries not associated with the Erasmus program: this is the
objective of the capacity-building mission of which Ial Fvg is
the lead partner as part of the Erasmus+ Vet Web (Enhancing
Experiences for Training in the Western Balkans) project, an
EU-funded initiative with a budget of 350,000 euros.
Vet Web has achieved significant milestones since its
inception in September in Montenegro and Albania. From June 4 to
today, a delegation of Albanian and Montenegrin faculty and
staff actively involved in the project visited Ial Fvg. The
delegation's visit to the Pordenone office gave them a deeper
understanding of the Maker and IoT pathways. Moreover, the
meeting in Trieste focused on training and job placement,
showcasing the project's tangible outcomes.
"For us, it was an opportunity to let our Albanian and
Montenegrin colleagues, toward whom we are doing a support
action in terms of organizational skills, experience firsthand
how Ial Fvg deals with the job placement of people in a regional
and European context," explained Marianna Muin, Ial Fvg
international projects manager and Vet-Web project manager. The
delegation then moved to the Muggia office, where Ial Fvg
president Luciano Bordin and Director General Gabriele De Simone
welcomed them. "Our involvement in the project with the role of
lead partner," said Bordin, "is an integral part of Ial Fvg's
commitment to promoting and developing vocational training at
the international level. We look confidently at the prospect of
an increasingly inclusive and enlarged Union towards the
Balkans." In October, a stage of the Vet SWeb project will take
place in Barcelona.
