The European Commission and the
Montenegrin government signed an agreement associating the
Balkan country with the EU4Health program, enabling the
country's health system to better respond to immediate needs and
contribute to long-term recovery.
The EU executive announced this in a statement. With the
entry into force of the deal, Montenegrin health authorities and
the wider health community will be able to take full advantage
of EU funding opportunities under the program on an equal
footing with EU member states, Norway, Iceland, Moldova, and
Ukraine.
