"More significant reforms have
been implemented in Bosnia-Herzegovina in recent weeks and
months compared to prior years, and efforts to implement
additional reforms continue. Given the circumstances, we contend
that it is critical to seize the present opportunity and
momentum by deciding to initiate accession talks with Bosnia and
Herzegovina." This is what ANSA read in a letter from the
European affairs ministers of Italy, Austria, Croatia, the Czech
Republic, Greece, Slovakia, and Slovenia to their EU
counterparts, who are meeting today in Brussels to discuss the
start of the EU accession negotiations in Sarajevo.
