(ANSA-AFP) - PARIS, APR 9 - Last month was the hottest March
on record globally and the 10th straight month of historic heat,
Europe's climate monitor said Tuesday, as sea surface
temperatures also reached a new high. "March 2024 continues the
sequence of climate records toppling for both air temperature
and ocean surface temperatures, with the 10th consecutive
record-breaking month," said Samantha Burgess, deputy director
of the EU's Copernicus Climate Change Service. (ANSA-AFP).
