(ANSA) - BUCHAREST - ''Therme Bucuresti'', the largest spa
complex in Europe, opened its doors this week in Bucharest.
The centre was built thanks to an investment of 50 million euro
made by the Austrian group A- Heat Group in Balotesti, a small
town on the outskirts of the Romanian capital Bucharest.
The new centre covers 250,000 sq metres, has a capacity of
4,000 people and uses the thermal waters found at a depth of
3,100 metres.
It has eight pools (3,000 square metres), while the green
outdoor areas represent ''the largest botanical garden in
Romania'', with more than 800,000 plants. (ANSA).
