The regular meeting of the foreign
ministers of the Baltic and Nordic states (NB8) will take place
on Sept. 6-7 in Cesis, Latvia. The meeting will focus on issues
related to support for Ukraine, regional security, energy
security, and optimizing common responses to hybrid threats, The
NB8 is a regional cooperation format that brings together
representatives of the governments of Denmark, Estonia, Finland,
Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden. In 2023, Latvia
is the rotating chair of NB8.
