Italy fell from third to fourth
place in Europe among contributing countries to the European
Space Agency in 2023, with funding of 580 million euros (-2%
from 2022), trailing Germany (1.05 billion euros), France (1
billion), and the United Kingdom (610 million). The data was
published in a research from the Space Economy Observatory of
the School of Management at the Polytechnic of Milan.
