The International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste is commemorating its 60th anniversary today.
The Centre has been defined as "a national excellence, the result of a successful collaboration with UNESCO and the International Atomic Energy Agency," an entity "open to the world and a bridge to the Adriatic area and the Balkans," and "highlights the vocation of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Italy to innovation and research," said the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, in a message.
