An Italian anti-vax doctor in Teramo
in Abruzzo was arrested Monday on suspicion of criminal
negligence after a patient of his died in Campania after being
prescribed 'alternative' treatment including tinctures of
mushrooms, local sources said.
The doctor, Roberto Petrella, is well-known for his anti-vax
militancy.
A gynecologist, he treated his patient over the phone for an
as-yet undisclosed malady comprising multiple pathologies but
perhaps not COVID-19.
Petrella, who has been served with a conditional ban from the
Italian guild of gynecologists, has been charged with
manslaughter.
