The October 30 'nostalgic' rally at Mussolini's birthplace at Predappio "has been happening for years" and is thus different from a rave party at Modena that was broken up by the police, Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi said Monday when asked why the police had not intervened to stop the commemoration of the black shirts' coup d'etat that brought Fascism to power 100 years ago, Fascist salutes, fezes and movement song Faccetta Nera included.
He said the Modena rave and the Predappio rally "are completely different things, Predappio is an event that has been happening for many years, it's something different.
"The owner had reported the rave party".
He added: "Predappio is run according to the norms of public order".
