A tornado knocked onto its side a
goods train near Mantua on Thursday evening, sources said Friday
as extreme weather ripped northern Italy.
All seven trucks on the convoy, each weighing 22 tonnes, were
knocked over by the whirlwind at the terminal of a farm feed
firm at Borgo Mantovano.
The carriages were empty.
"It's a miracle no one was hurt," said Borgo Mantovano Mayor
Alberto Borsari.
