Italian Olympic women's volleyball
gold-medal winning coach Julio Velasco said he didn't have bad
dreams like soccer great Roberto Baggio has said he does over
his 1994 World Cup final shoot-out miss against winners Brazil
when thinking about his Italy men's 'team of the century'
Olympic final loss to the Netherlands at Atlanta 1996.
"I have never lacked peace for Atlanta '96", said the
72-year-old Argentine tactician.
"I've never been obsessed, I'm not like Baggio who always thinks
back to the penalty," he added to RaiSport referring to the USA
'94 World Cup final, lost by Italy.
"Ours was an extraordinary team that lost the gold for two
balls,.this time we won it".
